Pool & fitness center close unexpectedly
On Tuesday members of Leader Health and Fitness found a sign that saying the place is closed. The fitness center was shut and pool was closed on a very hot day and many left angry.
Members were only told this weekend that they were losing their fitness center pool. Its owner reportedly agreed to sell the property to Wellspan.
But members and workers say memberships were being sold for the pool and fitness center right up to the closing. "I was down there working out and there was someone showing a family around its ridiculous," says Margaret Bentley, a lifeguard.
Members have been offered to transfer their memberships to another club in West Manchester Township. Even so the state attorney general is willing to hear from anyone who thinks that is not a fair comparable trade or if you think that other clubs is too far away. Complaint forms can be printed off from their website.
