A fitness trainer who is accused of raping four women at his Bodies for Christ Training Centers in Springdale and Van Buren faces a July 8 trial date in Washington County.

James Solomon, 37, already faces federal prison time for violating condition of his probation on federal drug charges out of the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Solomon is charged with two counts of rape in Washington County and two counts of sexual assault in Crawford County. He is accused in Washington County of raping one victim on Nov. 14, 2006, and the other on Feb. 12, 2007.

He also faces a charge of failure to appear in Washington County after missing his Feb. 12 trial date. He was arrested by federal marshals in California and returned to Arkansas for his federal revocation hearing.

He will be tried on one count of rape on July 8 in Washington County, said Charles Duell, 4 th Judicial District deputy prosecutor. Victims in all four cases are scheduled to testify during the trial, he said.

Victims testified at Solomon's revocation hearing in federal court, Duell said.
