Wichita fitness clubs can serve an important role in assisting employee health
Mohsen Etezazi owns Fitness 2000, Wichita's only 24-hour fitness center, and that gives him an advantage when it comes to corporate wellness programs.
Fitness 2000 has corporate agreements with just about every aircraft manufacturer in town, as well as the city of Wichita, QuikTrip, Dillons and many other businesses.
Those companies chose Fitness 2000 because they all have second- and third-shift employees.
"They can be pretty hyper when they get off work," Etezazi says. "Coming here gives them a chance to mellow a little bit -- get a good workout in before they go home and get to bed."
