Tony Marks, personal fitness trainer, returned to the Lincoln City Community Center following a lengthy absence.

"We are so glad to have Tony back," said Gail Kimberling, community center director. "He has many loyal clients and was greatly missed."

Marks is certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and American Arthritis Foundation, and is a certified nutritionist. In addition, Marks is a Fourth Degree Black Belt, who owns and operates Lifestyle School of Martial Arts. Classes for the martial arts school are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Lincoln City Community Center.

"Martial arts and personal training go hand-in-hand," said Marks. "It's all about helping people improve their quality of life, and reach their goals."

Marks has been involved in martial arts since the age of 6, and he began working out in gyms when he was 16.

In his free time, Marks enjoys playing the guitar and "singing love songs to my English bulldog, 'Tarus.'"

Marks is available for fitness orientations and personal training on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. He also teaches Tai Chi at 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will soon offer a new senior conditioning class on those days.

For more information, or to schedule an appointment with Marks, call him directly at 961-2297, or contact the Lincoln City Community Center at 994-2131.
